Time magazine has named Tesla, Hyperloop, Neuralink and SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk Person of the Year. This choice has certainly not surprised anyone.
The South African, Canadian and American national entrepreneur, Elon Musk, is constantly on social media tweeting news and shaking up the cryptocurrency market, in addition to his successful rocket and satellite launches.
"For creating solutions to an existential crisis, for embodying the possibilities and dangers of the era of technology titans, for driving the most daring and disruptive transformations in society, Elon Musk is Time's Person of the Year 2021 ", explains the magazine.
"The richest man in the world does not own a house and has recently been selling his fortune. He puts satellites in orbit and takes advantage of the sun; he drives a car that he created that uses no gasoline and hardly needs a driver," Time exposes in his tribute on Musk.

Time also announced singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo as Artist of the Year, Simone Biles as Athlete of the Year and "Vaccine Scientists and the miracle of mRNA" as Heroes of the Year. The announcements were made during a presentation on YouTube.
