Goodbye to 'democracy' in MotoGP: the 'tyrant' Marc Márquez returns to power

0

Marc Márquez has returned to being Marc Márquez. And that's good news for him, for those of us who love motorcycling and for MotoGP . But not so much for his rivals because, as soon as he respects his health, that kind of democracy in which anyone could win has ended. With the tyrant Márquez on the track, this can once again be a dictatorship where Marc rules.

At Sachsenring , the courtyard of his home where he had already won ten times, Marc Márquez won his eleventh victory, the first after his serious injury in Jerez last year. The Spanish hymn sounded and we saw that giant smile that hides shark teeth behind it. And when the shark smells the blood , it is convenient to rush to the shore … or to the parking lot.

I admit that I enjoyed like a dwarf watching Marc Márquez lead the race and risk it while staying on the track when they raised the white flag in the rain. That is the best thing that Marc has, a courage that sometimes leads him to crash, but other times it has led him to win eight World Championships, seven of them in MotoGP.

This year he may not be in time to win the World Cup, but his rivals already know that Marc is back and that, most likely, they will now start fighting for the crumbs. Come on, from the second to the back.

Allow me without any malice to paraphrase Arias Navarro when he announced on television with his broken voice the death of Franco to be able to say after Márquez's victory in Germany that of: " Spaniards, Marc is back ."
