The internet has become an essential element for the continuity of school, work and entertainment activities in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. But the lack of good security practices and the proliferation of applications to hack WiFi networks make Internet theft a common practice.

Low WiFi strength is a sign that someone is using your network. If you have contracted the service with Totalplay, here we explain how to check the management of the modem.

How to know who is connected to my Wi-Fi?

All wireless modems have a management console that allows configuration without the need to call a service technician.

To check the connection of devices to a Totalplay modem, users must enter this url: 192.168.100.1

Once on the site, a window will appear with a box that will ask for a user, which is root, and a password, which is admin. Once the data has been entered, press enter.

Later, a box with several options will be displayed, but the one that must be selected is Status. Then you have to go to User device information, this option will let you know how many devices are connected to a modem, as well as its IP.

How to remove devices connected to my Wi-Fi Totalplay?

If any of the devices is not recognized, select it and go to “IP filter configuration” and just hit apply and automatically the device will no longer be able to access the network.

To change the password, Totalplay users must enter the same site 192.168.100.1 and go to the WLAN option, then go to the “SSID NAME” box where the new network name must be written and in the “WPA PreSharedKey ” the new Internet password.

To finish, you must click on “Apply” to update the information.
