Nanotechnology to turn your mobile phone into a submersible

movil-agua A Southern California company has created Liquipel , one of the most revolutionary inventions for smartphones . It is a chemical protector, made from tiny nanoparticles, that isolates the circuits and other components of mobile phones from any liquid that may fall on the device. In this way, they claim to have achieved that one of the most common accidents with any ‘gadget’ -which gets wet- ceases to be a concern for users. According to its creators, the terminal continues to function normally even if it falls into a pool or river .

It is not a case or a physical protector, but a treatment that is applied to the phone only at the headquarters of the Liquipel company. The isolation of the phone has a cost that ranges from 47 to 62 euros depending on the type of transport by which the device is sent to the offices and by which it is delivered back to the user. Devices from HTC, Motorola, Apple and Samsung are the ones that, at the moment, can receive this treatment.
