Infected and contact persons now only have to be quarantined for 10 instead of 14 days after an infection or a risk contact. However, anyone who works in a nursing profession or in medical facilities needs a PCR test to be on the safe side and must be symptom-free for 48 hours. If you are only a contact person and not infected yourself, you may not have to go into quarantine at all. Anyone who has been boosted or has recovered within the last three months or has been vaccinated for the second time is exempt from the quarantine obligation.
