BWT ‘s arrival in Formula 1 in 2017 brought the color pink back to the top flight. The water treatment company dyed the Force India car completely pink, and kept it that way when that team became Racing Point.

For 2021, the year in which Racing Point became Aston Martin, BWT lost prominence, and Cognizant was the main sponsor of the team, which did not alter the characteristic green of the British. However, pink didn’t quite say ‘goodbye’, and several lines of Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll’s car had details of that color, on both wings and on the sides.

The German, by the way, did paint his helmet pink in association with BWT to launch a positive message for a sustainable world, but the car was green, without question.

However, the latest rumors suggest that BWT will become the main sponsor of Alpine from 2022, which has quickly led to thinking about what the decoration of Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon’s car will be like.

And there is nothing against pink, but the 2021 Alpine A521 made everyone fall in love with its colors, with that electric blue from the French firm. Therefore, how much prominence will pink take away from blue in the new single-seater from Enstone?

It is true that blue is characteristic of the brand that the Renault Group wants to expand and that gives its name to the team, but it is also true that a main sponsor , and more one with the intentions of BWT and that is closely associated with its color, will want more distinction than a large sticker on the rear wing.

Until the presentation of the new car everything is conjecture , but at the moment social networks are flooded with comments asking that the presence of pink in the Alpine be more similar to the one we saw in the Aston Martin AMR21 than to several of the cars that you can see in the gallery below.

We present here a compilation of photos of racing cars that have used that distinctive color, either as the basis of their decoration or in small brushstrokes or details.
