Harry and Meghan’s daughter Lilibet Diana’s first visit to England is still a long way off – much to the chagrin of her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
Windsor – During their time as active senior royals, Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40) lived just a stone’s throw away from Queen Elizabeth II (95), but they are now separated by a flight of several hours. As reported by 24royal.de*, the Sussexes have turned their backs on Frogmore Cottage and England and have relocated their family.

Harry and Meghan have been calling sunny California their home for around two years, their son Archie* (2) is growing up here and this is where baby Lilibet Diana* (9 months) was born. The daughter of the ducal couple will be celebrating her first birthday in a few months, but she has still not met most of her family. Queen Elizabeth II* has not yet hugged her eleventh great-grandchild, but according to a royal expert, she would like to do so as soon as possible.
Shortly after the birth in June 2021, the Queen was apparently able to take a look at her sweet namesake Lilibet in a video call *, since then she has been longing for a personal meeting. “I’ve heard from people I know in the royal household that she’s really dying to see the baby,” author Brian Hoey told Britain’s Express. According to Hoey, the apparently still tense relationship between the US emigrants and the British royal family * should not play a role: “She [Queen Elizabeth II.] would certainly welcome her [Harry and Meghan] back if they came. “
