During the emotionally charged visit of Duchess Kate and Prince Williams to the Ukrainian cultural center, the couple revealed that the crisis situation also affects their children.

LONDON – The Duke, 39, and Duchess of Cambridge, 40, paid a visit to the Ukraine Cultural Center in London on Wednesday amid the ongoing war situation. The two met with members of the Ukrainian community and volunteers and learned first-hand how the most vulnerable are currently being supported. They said that their children asked questions about the war.*

The challenges facing the center was the big theme of the Royals’ visit. The helpers are desperately trying to get donations to where they are most urgently needed. Kate and William initially listened with concern. “It is very strange to see this in Europe. We’re all behind you,” Prince William* said to the volunteers. He added that he and Kate would like to help more, echoing what many people may be feeling right now: “We feel so useless.”

The royals are no different than most parents. Their children stand before them with questioning eyes after the war. Prince William said his older children Prince George*, 8, and Princess Charlotte*, 6, needed answers. “Our children came home and asked everything about it,” said the son of the heir to the throne, Prince Charles* (73). “Of course they also talk about it with their friends at school.” The children may have noticed that the ducal couple immediately showed their support for Ukraine. * 24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
