Queen Elizabeth II has turned her back on Windsor Castle. For her first trip after taking a break, she has chosen a special travel destination.

Windsor – The British people can breathe a sigh of relief after the troubling news of the past few weeks. Queen Elizabeth II (95) finally seems to be getting better. As reported by 24royal.de *, she interrupted her break and left her residence at Windsor Castle.

As the Mirror reports, the 95-year-old is said to have made her way to Norfolk by helicopter. Your Destination? Sandringham House *! Queen Elizabeth II apparently wants to spend the weekend at her country house. Her doctors had initially ordered the monarch to take a compulsory break *. Provided that they continue to rest, they have approved the short trip, according to an insider. “The Queen had hoped to still be able to spend the weekend in Sandringham and was delighted that her doctors gave her permission to travel,” explains the palace source.

There is supposed to be a very special reason behind their trip. Queen Elizabeth II. * Will be planning an important festival during her weekend visit, which “she is very much looking forward to”. The preparations for Christmas and the accommodation of the invited guests are high on the agenda of the regent, according to the Mirror.
