The first panoramic image of Mars taken by Curiosity

Curiosity's navigation cameras have already been activated, after its landing on Mars last Monday, and have provided a great self-portrait of the spacecraft and a 360-degree panorama (above) showing the new home of the explorer in Gale Crater .

It is the most detailed capture of this area of the red planet made to date, made up of two high resolution images with a spectacular definition that allows us to perceive even the terrain reliefs. The topography of the area is very mountainous due to the erosion to which it has been subjected, as explained by NASA.
