The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD: this comparison shows the differences between the Nintendo Switch version and the Wii version

Finally, it is already among us. 10 years have passed since the release of Nintendo’s original work , but The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is already among us. Wii was the console that saw our silent protagonist get involved in a new adventure and now it’s time to see him totally revamped.

A set-up that allows us to see the splendid world of the game at a better resolution and with great detail. However, how much exactly has the title improved ? Bit Analyst allows us to take a look by comparing the two versions. Here you have the result.

On the one hand we have that the Nintendo Switch version reaches a resolution of 1080p and 60FPS when it is in the dock , while it drops to 720p on the laptop, but keeping the frame rate that is very stable. One of the great advantages of increased resolution is that blurred images disappear, making it easier to see.

It is also something that is reflected in the shadows, the HUD and the general interface. The drawing distance has increased in most sections, except for the vegetation where it looks better on Wii.

Loading times have improved, although the difference is not really substantial. The Joy-Con have a much lower latency than the Wiimote , so the fighting is more agile.

Surely more than one will take the opportunity to calm their desire to play the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which will arrive next year.
