The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) appointed Ricardo Torres Muela as the new director of Navigation Services in the Mexican Air Space (SENEAM).
The agency detailed on its Twitter account that the official has 43 years of experience as an Air Traffic Controller and has a degree in business administration.
The appointment comes a day after the previous director, Víctor Manuel Hernández, resigned from his post amid accusations that pilots and air traffic controllers have made for his disregard of incident alerts in the Valley of Mexico.
