Those from Woking worked hand in hand with the Australian section of the Danish toy company LEGO to make a life-size replica of the MCL35M , the single-seater of the British from last year 2021.

It’s a one-of-a-kind job by famed designer Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught , taking 1,893 hours to connect the 288,315 tiny orange, black, and blue pieces.

He is a 49-year-old Australian known for being the only LEGO-certified designer in Australia, and one of only twenty-one in the world, and his works include a replica of the Colosseum in Rome, the Acropolis in Greece or the town Italian from Pompeii.

McLaren used this one-of-a-kind piece to promote their team at the 2022 Australian Grand Prix, with their titular driver duo, Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris, posing next to the toy car in the Albert Park track’s own pitlane.

The two members of the English team could not resist getting into the car, and they gave us images that will surely be remembered in many years with a big smile on their faces.

After the good time between the Australian and the British, they posed with the steering wheel, also made from LEGO bricks, and the MCL35M was taken to the outskirts of the paddock so that the fans could enjoy this striking piece of art.
