[Pantelleria -] Two people died in a storm on the Italian Mediterranean island of Pantelleria. The civil protection authorities announced on Friday evening that six cars were hit and knocked over by a windpipe.
In addition to the two dead, there are four seriously injured. The civil defense photos showed battered cars lying on the roof or off the road. The Ansa news agency reported a total of nine injured. Among the dead was a firefighter who was not on duty at the time.
