A giant blue lagoon will soon be a reality near Quebec, Canada. The city of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, an hour north of this city, could be home to one of the largest heated lagoons in the world.

Thus, as part of the geoLAGON housing development, a giant Iceland-style geothermal lagoon (like the Blue Lagoon) is planned for the small town of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, near Canada’s first Club Med Resort, the resort of Mountain.

The project, called geoLagoon, is based on Iceland’s world-popular geothermal lagoons , and its owner and CEO Louis Massicotte’s vision includes four such lagoons to be built in Canada alone.
Designed to be the largest of its kind in the world and blend in with the natural landscape, the geoLagon project also includes hundreds of surrounding luxury homes to form a village that will be entirely energy self-sufficient.
