Computers, iPods, iPhones and more at Manhasset
In October 2009, the Apple Store in Manhasset opened its doors. Located at 1900 Northern Boulevard, just off Daffy in the Americana Mall, the Apple Store sells all the computers, iPods, iPhones, iPads, and all the other tech toys you’ve come to expect from Apple. It joined the other Apple stores on Long Island, located at Roosevelt Field, Walt Whitman Mall, and Smith Haven Mall.
Free workshops
Inside the Apple Store’s expansive glass entrance, Manhasset, you’ll find free workshops on Mac-related topics such as the Mac OS X Snow Leopard Hands-on Workshop and the MobileMe Hands-on Workshop. You will need to book in advance, so head to the Apple Store, Manhasset to register or to learn more about the classes offered.
Youth programs
You will also be able to sign up for Youth Workshops, which provide an opportunity for families with children ages 6 to 9 and ages 10 to 13 to work together. These free workshops are found in all Apple retail stores, and Manhasset’s is no exception.
Reserve time with a genius
If you have technical questions, make an appointment to meet someone at the store’s Genius Bar. One of Apple’s trained geniuses will help you.
Parking lot
From the Apple Store, Manhasset is located in the Centro Comercial Americana, you must drive to the downtown parking lot. In busy times, you may have to wander around a bit, but you will definitely find a parking space there.
