What other designs does the 20 peso coin have in Mexico?

This is not the only 20 peso coin in circulation. Banxico has a plan to gradually remove the 20-peso bills, as they deteriorate, so that in a few years only coins of this denomination will be handled.

Don’t worry, if you have saved banknotes from other years or designs in a piggy bank, they are still good and you can exchange them at any bank branch for new design banknotes.

Other 20-peso coins also have designs such as the commemoration of the 700th anniversary of the foundation of Tenochtitlán, the 500 years of historical memory of Mexico-Tenochtitlán, the bicentennial of National Independence.

There are also coins that commemorate the 500th anniversary of the founding of the city and port of Veracruz, the 50th anniversary of the Marine Plan, the fiftieth anniversary of the application of the DN-III-E plan, as well as the centenary of the enactment of the Political Constitution of February 5, 1917.
