In Lower Saxony, a child (12) dies a few days after his second corona vaccination. Whether there is a connection has yet to be finally clarified.
Cuxhaven / Kassel – In the Cuxhaven district, a twelve-year-old child died two days after his second Corona * vaccination. Because of the close temporal connection, the health department had commissioned the autopsy of the body, which had already taken place, the district announced on Wednesday (November 3rd, 2021).
“Although the final autopsy report is not yet available, the preliminary autopsy protocol already suggests that the child died as a result of the vaccination,” said a statement.

With a view to the child’s previous illnesses, a possible other cause could not be completely ruled out before the evaluation of further examinations, said the forensic medicine institute at the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf. Results should be available by Thursday (November 4th, 2021). The Biontech vaccine was used.
Reported deaths temporally related to immunization against the coronavirus in children and adolescents are extremely rare. In Germany, paediatricians strongly recommend a corona vaccination. The Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI) lists five such suspected cases by September 30, 2021, which relate to a fatal outcome within 2 to 24 days after vaccination with the Biontech product.
