Elon Musk will make a major announcement about SpaceX this week

Starship will be the most powerful rocket ever launched into space. This deep space vehicle will take humans back to the Moon and possibly Mars.

And it seems that we have news this week. The official presentation will take place at 20:00 CT (03:00 am Spanish time ) in Texas, where SpaceX has been developing Starship at its test facility in Boca Chica.

The billionaire businessman Elon Musk will be in charge of providing the highly anticipated news, since the SpaceX company has not updated its status for almost three years.

No further details of the event have been released.

During the last update of the project in September 2019, Musk made a presentation in front of a complete Starship prototype, so it will be an event that probably will not leave anyone indifferent.

Starship is a fully reusable rocket and is designed to launch on top of a giant booster called Super Heavy. The combined system will have a height of 120 meters.

Right now, the company is awaiting approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to launch Starship into Boca Chica orbit, something that is not expected to happen until March at the earliest.
