Sony acknowledged that it will continue to have problems supplying its next-generation console, PlayStation 5 (PS5), to merchants and gamers in 2022, due to a lack of supplies of components such as semiconductors as a result of the pandemic.
The technology company has sold 7.8 million PlayStation 5 (PS5) since its launch in November to March 31, 2021, and expects to sell at least 14.8 million in the current fiscal year.
