The Pentagon confirms that the video of an alleged UFO is not false

The Pentagon has confirmed as authentic a series of images and videos of unidentified flying objects – currently described as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, UAP, for its acronym in English – filmed by the US Navy.

The photographic and audiovisual material shows possible objects flying over a US Navy warship and was leaked to a documentary maker named Jeremy Corbell. After this dissemination, the Pentagon has been forced to confirm that these are not false images and that they were taken by US Navy personnel.

While UFOs are a fairly stigmatized subject, associated with conspiracy theories and intertwined with pop culture , the fact is that UAPs represent documented sightings of phenomena that neither military nor scientific observers can easily identify and, between them, may be about weather balloons, human spaceships or even clouds.

In this case, the sightings obtained by filmmaker Jeremy Corbell (creator of Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers) and reporter George Knapp (host of the Las Vegas KLAS TV news), include images of a mysterious ship “in the form of pyramid or triangle “ that appears flying through the sky above a destroyer of the Navy of the United States, along with images of other three strange objects . The exact date or location of this sighting has not been confirmed.

The images, with a night vision camera, show the encounter captured by a sailor aboard the USS Russell, which has recently been deployed with the Seventh Fleet in the Philippine Sea. The video is 18 seconds long, and as we see it, it appears to show several mysterious twinkling objects in the sky above the fast-paced warship.

Corbell said he was able to verify the authenticity of the film after obtaining information from a Pentagon intelligence report on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). Pentagon officials also separately confirmed that the images were taken by US Navy personnel, but did not comment on the nature of the images. The objects, all of them quite different from each other, have come to be known as the ‘Sphere’, the ‘Acorn’ and the ‘Metallic Airship’.

The filmmaker claims the video was shot in July 2019. It appears to show an incident in which objects that were initially described as “drones” were reported flying over a US warship off the coast of Southern California.

The Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) is a group confirmed by the Department of Defense that is dedicated to investigating encounters between the US military and unidentified objects.

Is this a visual joke? Some have speculated that it could be weather balloons or foreign spy drones.

The New York Times newspaper itself has already published that since the world is faced with the coronavirus pandemic, reports of UFO sightings have multiplied. In New York alone, the figure doubled from the previous year.

We will be waiting for more details on this event . At the moment, no one knows for sure what these mysterious snapshots really are. What has become clear is that the images are genuine but that they remain categorized as unidentified objects.
