Michael Jones McKean, a professor at the Commonwealth University of (USA), has made this possible by creating a machine that can make artificial rainbows from “recycled” natural ingredients . And it uses rainwater that it recycles over and over again to form colored arches that “float” over its inventor’s studio.

Now McKean is preparing an installation at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art in Omaha (USA) in which he will shine a rainbow twice a day, for 15 minutes at a time, and on which he will invite people to walk.
