This map shows the entire surface of the solar system compared to Earth.

You may not know his name (or maybe you do). It is about Randall Munroe , probably the best illustrator of our era and author of the well-known online comic or online comic XKDC, full of "romance, sarcasm, mathematics and language" and which was released back in 2006. Munroe is also a robot designer NASA and, in his spare time, while he conducts this webcomic, he gives us all kinds of scientific pearls that anyone can like and entertain.

Munroe gave us on this occasion a vignette of "Space without space" , in which we can see the entire solid surface of our solar system compared to the territory that the Earth occupies.

The result is a map with 148 million square kilometers of land on which to observe this unusual world map with Venus, that unbreathable hell, Mars, Mercury, our Moon … have fun seeing both the large and small objects of our cosmic neighborhood .
