We invite you to the Matrix cinema forum to commemorate the 20 years of its premiere

On June 23, 1999, a film was released in Spain that would mark a before and after in action and science fiction films. The Matrix could not be counted, it had to be seen. Not only because of its innovative visual techniques, but because of the complex and unsettling possibility it posed for us: what if everything we felt was nothing more than an interactive neural simulation? How do we know that our reality is real?

What is the approach of science in this regard? Could we really be living in a simulation?

Come see the remastered Matrix and enjoy a scientific discussion with us.

To commemorate the 20 years since the premiere of Matrix , Muy Interesante organizes next Thursday, June 20, a cinema forum with scientific disseminators to reflect on the legacy of this visionary work of science fiction by the Wachowski sisters and focus the point of view of science about of simulated universes.

First, we will enjoy the screening of the remastered film , and then the discussion will open with our speakers, after which the guests will be able to ask their questions.
