108M, an environmentally friendly megayacht

At the moment it is only a concept, but we suppose that for pockets full enough, it is quite probable that the megayacht 108M, designed by the company Hareide Design Norway , will see the light … and the water of the oceans.

Since most of the megayachts that are made today are like floating hotels, with interiors based on the most traditional luxury, this Scandinavian company has tried to give a twist to that idea and create a boat from which to experience the beauty of marine nature .

The 108M is supplied with an environmentally friendly power source: 300 square meters of high-efficiency solar panels connected with lithium-ion batteries supply the ship with sustainable energy and enough power for smooth sailing. For greater distances and speeds, it also features a diesel-electric drive motor.

It also has a dining room-viewpoint in the highest area of the boat, a peaceful garden that surrounds the 20-meter-long pool on the main deck and an area, just at the stern, where the sea water enters and flows. so that passengers can soak their feet.

On the lower foredeck of this 108-meter-long megahybrid, almost at sea level, there is an area covered by a glass wall that offers spectacular views of the sea that surrounds the megayacht, and, in the highest area of the yacht, has a small helipad so helicopters can land on it.
