The Robert Koch Institute is now pointing out that the shortened corona recovery status only applies to non-vaccinated people – from a technical point of view, this apparently causes problems in everyday life.
Berlin – The Ministry of Health reduced the corona recovery status from six to three months in January. A process that brought a lot of criticism to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). In its recommendation, however, the RKI only meant non-vaccinated people. A circumstance that it made clearer on its website on February 3 – and which, according to a report, is now causing implementation problems.
Because pharmacies, among other things, issue the recovered certificates. However, according to information from the Pharmazeutische Zeitung , the shortened period of validity for non-vaccinated people is not shown here. You will still receive a receipt that is valid for six months. Actually not in the sense of the RKI.
Pharmacy spokesman: Those who have recovered could still be turned away in Gastro
According to an image report, there is now confusion among pharmacists. The German Association of Pharmacists ABDA confirmed the technical problem to the newspaper and its spokesman Christian Splett said to Bild author Benedikt Weimer: “Strictly speaking, a convalescent can be turned away in front of a restaurant or pub despite an apparently valid convalescent certificate. Namely if the illness was more than 90 days ago and no additional vaccination certificate is stored in the Corona-Warn-App. That would then correspond to the recommendation of the RKI.”
The Pharmazeutische Zeitung also reports on the subject that the validity of the convalescent certificate “apparently” is to be checked on a random basis, in their words during “cause-based controls”. According to the image , the RKI initially left a corresponding request from the newspaper unanswered.
Corona summit with Chancellor Scholz: convalescent status at the top of the agenda
The corona recovery status is also a point in the decision paper for the Prime Minister’s Conference with Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) on February 16. Paul Ehrlich and the RKI should no longer be able to make determinations on the vaccination and recovery status alone, it says.
In January, a change in Johnson & Johnson vaccinations also caused criticism – politicians had only recently authorized the RKI and PEI. (frs) *Merkur.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
