Heavy fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces was reported from Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, and other places on Sunday night.
In the televised speech, Zelenskyy demanded that Russia be deprived of voting rights in the UN Security Council and then addressed his people: “Ukrainians, we know exactly what we are defending.” When translating these words, the interpreter was overcome by her emotions. Her voice cracking, she visibly struggled for her composure, faltered, and then burst into tears. After a brief interruption, she replied with an “excuse me”. Then the broadcaster interrupted the live broadcast and switched back to the studio, reports Focus Online.
