In the southwest is probably the largest lithium reservoir in Europe. A Karlsruhe company wants to salvage the treasure that lies in the depths of the Upper Rhine for the automotive industry.
Karlsruhe – Daimler AG is now pursuing a very ambitious e-strategy: The Group's combustion engines are to be phased out earlier than expected, and environmentally friendly e-cars are to be produced. Only recently, however, did the strategy fall into a bad light when engineers published unpleasant results on e-cars that put Daimler under pressure. In the study by the Association of German Engineers, it became clear how bad the CO2 balance of batteries is for e-cars. As BW24 * reports, a company from Karlsruhe now wants to change that and promote lithium deposits in the Upper Rhine in an environmentally friendly way.
Daimler AG ( BW24 * reported) recently set a milestone in terms of e-mobility with the world premiere of the EQS. * BW24 is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
