The Rolling Cinematheque, conceived as a collective experience of participation, access and appropriation, arises from the territory and from the audiovisual work that involves various areas, dimensions and agents. Through nine programs, and celebrating ten years of the initiative, it seeks to strengthen the audiovisual sector of the city from the everyday.
The Rolling Cinematheque: Ser Audiovisual is an initiative aimed at amateur citizens in telling and circulating stories. With the idea of promoting meetings and economic support, as well as betting on networking, the exploration of audiovisual cultures, the promotion of circulation, collective creation and the experimentation of local audiovisual content, the project seeks to involve citizens in the construction of the collective memory of Bogotá.

Interested persons may participate through local nodes, that is, through a group of locations, in participation programs, audiovisual memory, circulation, promotion and training. The four nodes, made up of neighboring towns, are: North, West, Center and South. Each one of them has specific dates for registration and for the workshops.
Among the nine programs that are part of the Rolling Cinematheque, three of them stand out: Barter of Audiovisual Knowledge, Local Video Library and Rolling Connection. The first one seeks that the active agents of the local audiovisual cultures share their knowledge or experiences through workshops that contribute to the understanding of any of the areas of the audiovisual value chain, promoting the reactivation of the sector. People, groups and other active agents can participate in the program, proposing a free-themed workshop (lasting between 40 minutes and one hour) that contributes to the understanding of the audiovisual. The closest registrations to close are those of the North Node (May 20). The other dates can be consulted in this link.
With regard to the Local Video Library, this is a program for the circulation and access of the contemporary audiovisual memory of Bogotá that brings together audiovisual productions produced in and with the territories. This initiative seeks to identify and put in context the different audiovisual cultures of Bogotá, promoting their circulation through the screens that make up the territorial strategy, such as the Local Strip and the Local Screen. People, groups, organizations, groups and / or companies from all the towns of Bogotá with finished audiovisual works, who have finished their first circulation routes or who are seeking support for it, can participate in the call. Registration is open until October 29. The other dates and specifications are in this link.

Finally, Conexion Rodante is thinking as the virtual meeting point between the Bogotá Cinematheque with the audiovisual beings of each node. In these meetings, a dialogue will be established with agents of the audiovisual cultures of each set of localities to continue identifying and recognizing the dynamics and local processes that make up the ecosystem of audiovisual value in the territories; as well as it seeks to socialize the territorial strategy and the other mission lines of the Bogotá Cinematheque. Despite the fact that the meeting with the North Node has already taken place, the registration dates for the other sets of locations remain open.
