Imaginactive is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire future generations to create the future of mobility , according to the Canadian engineer and inventor Charles Bombardier, its founder, on its website.
One of his latest proposals is Mozeca, a futuristic and autonomous motorcycle concept that has a closed body – its panoramic roof protects its occupants from the weather outside, so it does not matter what season of the year they are in – and has capacity for two passengers who would travel face to face, in two opposite and adjustable seats , which would allow them to carry on a conversation while traveling from one point to another.
Both sides of the vehicle, the concept of which has been developed in collaboration with industrial designer Ashish Thulkar from Bangalore, India, would be equipped with a door and Mozeca could move in both directions .
“I believe that we must imagine, draw and develop new concepts of urban vehicles. And they should be narrow to minimize the space they need on the road, run year-round (even when it snows), and be equipped with electric motors. Mozeca meets these criteria, ”explains Bombardier. “I was inspired in part by the light bikes from the movie Tron and the transport trucks from Yo, Robot, ” he adds.
Mozeca would be autonomous – it would be enough for the passenger to specify aloud the destination they wish to go to – it would work with three electric motors, it would have stability at all times – even at red traffic lights – and it would have a wireless charging system that would allow, according to its creators, to buy and sell energy in real time to other nearby vehicles equipped with the same technology.
It could be taken as a personal vehicle or even as public transport, and, as explained in Imaginactive, thanks to its small size it would help reduce traffic congestion in cities and also reduce energy consumption .
