An eclipse is the phenomenon that occurs when a planet or the Moon gets in the way of sunlight . There are two types of eclipses: solar and lunar. In the solar eclipse, the Moon is placed between the Sun and the Earth, casting a shadow on the planet. In the lunar eclipse, it is the Moon that darkens or turns reddish in color, since the Earth is covering the Sun.
Within solar eclipses three types can be distinguished: total, annular and hybrid. Let’s see what each one consists of.

– Annular eclipse. This astronomical event happens when the Moon is placed between the Sun and the Earth at a distance that, by not completely blocking the star, leaves a spectacular ring around it . This type of solar eclipse is usually, according to NASA, longer and the ring can be seen for just over ten minutes, although it generally lasts five or six.
– Hybrid Eclipse. The hybrid eclipse is rare and occurs when the moon is at such a distance that it could completely cover the Sun. However, as it progresses, what it does is move away from it and instead of covering it, what occurs is an eclipse. cancel.
