Andalusia continues to be around a thousand new cases , a figure that has not moved for weeks. These PCR positives are mostly asymptomatic, this community has been lowering the hospital pressure for days, there are fewer and fewer hospitalized due to this disease. The ICUs have noticed the good rate of vaccination, achieving very low numbers of coronavirus patients.
The 1,405 cases this Saturday are registered after 1,441 on Friday, 1,527 on Thursday, 1,261 on Wednesday, 1,161 on Tuesday, 1,600 on Monday and Sunday, and 1,325 on Saturday. By provinces, Seville is once again the one with the most positives with 446, followed by Malaga with 253, Cádiz with 169, Granada with 153, Córdoba with 151, Huelva with 114, Jaén with 73 and Almería with 46. Two provinces are below of the 100 new cases, a very low incidence of this virus in the territory.
This stability in terms of infections and a decrease in hospitalized patients is added to a falling covid rate. Andalusia’s cumulative incidence rate has dropped slightly for the second day in a row. Specifically, it stands at 187.74 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, 0.4 points less in one day, but 4.8 points more than the rate of seven days ago and 17.6 points higher than the rate from two saturdays ago.
Deaths from coronavirus have not affected the entire autonomous community, some provinces have achieved the goal they all seek, that 0. Ending mortality from this virus is the goal that all Andalusians fight for through their daily efforts. These four deceased today belong to the province of Cádiz, which has registered two deaths, while Seville and Malaga have each recorded one death.
