Andalusia’s covid rate has dropped today after staying up for 9 consecutive days. This decrease is added to the lower number of cases of contagion that remains in the same line as previous days, around a thousand positives. Figures that demonstrate the effort of this entire community that has managed to keep death from coronavirus away from some of its provinces. That is the main objective of all the work done during more than a year of pandemic.

Contagions in Andalusia are stabilized around the thousand new ones detected every day. For weeks this has been the reference figure from which it neither goes down nor goes up, day after day slight increases or decreases are experienced, but always from the control of not going beyond the figure of one thousand positives.
The 1,325 cases this Saturday are counted after the 1,499 on Friday, the 1,639 on Thursday, the 1,492 on Wednesday, the 1,293 on Tuesday, the 1,397 on Monday and Sunday, and the 1,595 on last Saturday. By provinces, Seville is once again the one with the most positives with 323, followed by Malaga with 291, Cádiz with 191, Jaén with 147, Huelva with 144, Córdoba with 129, Granada with 74 and Almería with 26.
The good news for the main indicators comes in the drop in the rate after new consecutive days on the rise. The cumulative incidence rate in Andalusia stands at 182.94 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, 0.5 points less in one day and 12.8 more than last Saturday.

This Saturday, June 5, 6 deaths have been registered as a result of the coronavirus. These deaths are distributed throughout the Andalusian territory as follows, two in Córdoba, one in Cádiz, one in Malaga, one in Granada and one in Seville. Jaén, Almería and Huelva have not regretted any victim due to this virus.
For the fourth consecutive day, those admitted with coronavirus decrease in Andalusia. Today there are a total of 757 hospitalized , two less in 24 hours and 73 less than seven days ago. Those admitted to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) have also fallen to 183, four less than the day before and 37 less than last Saturday.
