The German company Bosch said on Wednesday that it will invest 4.3 billion Mexican pesos (about 215 million dollars) in the construction of a new plant in Querétaro to manufacture components for mobile applications.
In February, Bosch announced an investment of 146 million dollars to expand another of its plants in the central state of Querétaro, installing new high-tech production lines and a warehouse of some 12,000 square meters.
In a statement, the firm detailed on Wednesday that the new plant will be operated by its subsidiary Bosch Rexroth and will be commissioned next year.
It will have an area of 42,000 square meters and will mean the creation of more than 900 jobs.
