Canadian police report 10 killed in knife attacks

A dozen people were killed in knife attacks in two remote Canadian communities on Sunday, police said, launching a manhunt across three provinces for two suspects.

“We found 10 dead individuals (…) in the community of James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon, Saskatchewan,” Royal Canadian Mounted Police Deputy Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore told a news conference, adding that “several additional victims were wounds.”
