Munich – Cathy Hummels (34) recently had to cope with a severe blow – in the truest sense of the word. The TV presenter was suddenly hit on the head from behind while walking on the beach in Thailand – the man hit her several times. An incident that is still extremely upsetting to this day, which is why the 34-year-old is now trying to process the experience within coaching, as reported by tz.de.

Cathy Hummels has been in front of the camera for the presenter of the reality TV format “Kampf der Realitystars” since 2020. For this purpose, the native of Dachau travels to Phuket in Thailand for three weeks once a year. Crystal clear water, beach and sun – actually a dream place. But for the wife of footballer Mats Hummels, the trip was recently overshadowed by a terrible incident.

On the last day of her stay, the 34-year-old was attacked by a man on the beach – an event that not only went viral, but Cathy Hummels has not been able to properly process to this day.

“I was just doing the coaching because I want to process this event from Thailand (…) Mental health is so important!” Cathy said in her Instagram story from March 1st. Then she adds: “I think such shocks are always in the subconscious and that’s why I had two hours of therapy today and now I go there once a week.”
