Companies put their future at risk by not having a defined cybersecurity

Last year, during the pandemic, cybercrime increased its activities in the country, crimes such as abusive access to the computer system increased and the figure reached 5,584 reported cases, says the Cybernetic Center of the police, according to the SIA report.

Teleworking has multiplied the risk of cyber attacks in a scenario where electronic commerce is growing exponentially, warns the report on Digital Maturity, focused on cybersecurity and prepared by Minsait and SIA, Indra companies. The report was made from personal interviews with heads of a hundred of the main companies in 15 sectors of activity, and some experts in cybersecurity in the world.

The report by the SIA firm points out that the platforms of public administration entities neither escape these attacks nor have they been able to prevent the use of their name to commit crimes, such as sending false emails.
