4,017,116 people in Germany have been shown to have been infected with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the corona pandemic.
92,413 people in Germany have died of or with Corona so far.

New Corona code – the hospitalization incidence

The RKI gives the hospitalization incidence in its current management report from Monday at 1.64. The last value from Friday: 1.83. The hospitalization incidence is the number of corona patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days. Since an average of about ten days elapse between an infection and hospitalization, this value reflects the infection situation with a noticeable delay. According to RKI information, the calculation is based on the reporting date to the local health department. The previous high was around 15.5 around Christmas time.

The number of patients in the regional clinics is to become a new parameter for assessing the situation in the corona pandemic. This Tuesday, the Bundestag wants to pass some new regulations shortly before the election. The free corona tests * are also to be abolished. (ml) * Merkur.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
