The mother of King Willem-Alexander (54) tested positive for Corona after returning from a work visit to the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao last weekend and then went into domestic isolation.
The ex-queen was already fully vaccinated, including the booster vaccination, before her trip to the tropics, her son reported on a television program. Therefore, when she saw her cold symptoms, she first thought of the air conditioning on Curaçao.
