Ecopoop, the ecological dog poop collector

5.4 million dogs carpet the streets and parks of Spain every day with their feces. There are still too many non-civic owners who don't pick them up, but most do. Although with single-use plastic bags, not biodegradable and polluting.

The Valencian company Esferic better things, specialized in environmental solutions, has one for this problem: Ecopoop, the first ecological dog poop collector, made with biodegradable recycled cardboard that, according to the firm, disappears in a time that goes from three to three six months. Nothing to do with plastic bags, which take up to 150 years to disappear.

It works like a clamp that collects the excrement and transforms into a box with handles to deposit it in the organic garbage containers and achieve its total decomposition. Its creators claim that, as it is a solid cardboard barrier, it makes the task of collecting waste more bearable, and even more aesthetic.

In addition, the Ecopoop hangs on the dog's leash and is well visible, with the idea of attracting attention and raising awareness among animal owners.

The simple and useful accessory can be purchased for 21 euros for 60 units (the video shows how it works), enough for a month, and it is not the only ecological idea of the Valencian company, which a few months ago surprised with a bag of water that saves an average of three liters of liquid each time we shower.
