Update from May 11, 8 p.m.: So that children do not have to undergo a tiresome corona test twice a day, the Bavarian Parents’ Association (BEV) is now demanding that the test result from school may also be used outside of school. The BEV, based in Rosenheim, announced on Tuesday that the rapid tests should also be allowed to be used for the duration of their validity (24 hours for rapid tests) for visiting leisure facilities such as sports facilities, swimming pools, zoos, museums, cinemas or theaters. For the foreseeable future, visiting such facilities is only possible with a negative rapid test, as is attending school.
In the opinion of the association, it is therefore superfluous to be tested again for leisure activities if you have already carried out a corona test for school on the same day. In a statement by the BEV it is said: “It is an ethical imperative of the highest priority to increase the opportunities for participation of children and young people to the maximum possible after they have had to wait a long time in the pandemic that is gradually waning.”
Corona: Numerous relaxations for Bavaria’s state capital come into force
Update from May 11, 8.15 a.m.: Since today, the announced easing after the abolition of the emergency brake applies in Munich. * Since the city has been below the limit of 100 for days, the night curfew is no longer applicable. The situation is different in Memmingen. The city on the border with Baden-Württemberg has the second highest incidence in Germany at 281.2. The district (261.7) and the city of Coburg (253.2) are in fifth and sixth, the city of Schweinfurt (252.7) follows in seventh place.
