"Fast & Furious": Vin Diesel advertises Dwayne Johnson

During the shooting of “Fast & Furious 8”, the action stars clashed. Vin Diesel has now turned directly to “The Rock” to resolve the dispute.

Berlin – In an open letter on Instagram, action star Vin Diesel asked his fellow actor Dwayne Johnson to return to the “Fast & Furious” series.

“My little brother Dwayne … the time has come. The world is waiting for the final of Furious 10, ”wrote the 54-year-old in his post. He also posted a photo showing the two actors.

Dwayne Johnson has been part of the fast car series since Fast and Furious Five. He played the US agent Luke Hobbs. After “Fast & Furious 8” (2017) the departure followed. Ex-wrestler John Cena took over the role of Dwayne Johnson in “Fast & Furious 9”, who started his own spin-off “Hobbs & Shaw” together with Jason Statham.

Diesel continued in his letter: “You have to come, don’t let the franchise down, you have an important role to play. Hobbs can’t be played by anyone else. ”Whether“ The Rock ”can be convinced of that? There was initially no answer. The “Fast & Furious” series should end with two films. The first part, “Fast & Furious 10”, should appear in 2023. dpa
