On Wednesday evening (August 4), however, he made an exception – and spoke in a talk show on ARD about the measures in the corona pandemic, reports RUHR24 *.

Hape Kerkeling: Entertainer spent corona lockdown in his Bonn apartment
Actually, Hape Kerkeling, who became particularly successful thanks to his fictional character Horst Schlemmer *, was invited to the TV talk show “maischberger, die woche” (ARD) to talk about his new series projects and his recently published non-fiction cat book. However, given the current situation, it is not unusual that the entertainer is not spared a question about the corona pandemic * (all news about celebrities and TV from NRW * on RUHR24).
Kerkeling spent the corona lockdown mainly in his apartment in Bonn. Overall, he was unable to leave Germany for a year and a half due to the crisis – according to him, the first time since he could think. Due to the lockdown, he would now consider a visit to a restaurant “with great humility” and a plane trip “as a gift”.

“Nobody can deny that it was really a world-changing pandemic, four million deaths worldwide speak for themselves,” said the entertainer on the ARD talk show. However, the 56-year-old could not understand the criticism of the Corona measures, which some actors and entertainer colleagues in particular denounced in a video campaign *: “In the end, you have to talk about facts. There is this pandemic. To say there is no such thing as this pandemic is not an alternative opinion, it is just plain crazy. Therefore I strictly adhered to the pandemic measures and luckily I am not ill. “
He is also particularly happy about the opportunity to be vaccinated: “It is a real blessing for mankind that a vaccine has been developed so quickly.” He himself has now also been vaccinated. What, or rather who, he doesn’t like at all, is SPD health politician Karl Lauterbach.
Hape Kerkeling finds the epidemiologist competent, but: “[…] If I were his media advisor, I would say: less is more. To be on TV every twelve minutes, I would say, is too much. If he speaks up once a week, it might be enough. “

The statement by Hape Kerkeling that Karl Lauterbach urgently needs a visit to the hairdresser also caused a smile. When asked by talk show host Sandra Maischberger (54) what was wrong with the politician’s hair, Kerkeling replied that everyone had picked on Angela Merkel’s hair.
