Two greats of Danish cinema have teamed up again for “Heroes of Probability”: Anders Thomas Jensen and Mads Mikkelsen.
Berlin – Mads Mikkelsen has already made quite a few films with director Anders Thomas Jensen. For example, “Adam's Apples” or “Men & Chicken”. Weird stripes over bizarre people. Now her new work is coming to the cinema.
In “Heroes of Probability”, the three loners Otto, Lennart and Emmenthaler want to clear up a bomb attack using computer hacking and mathematical calculations. Also there is Markus, whose wife died in the attack and who seeks revenge.
At first he doesn't want to have anything to do with the strange trio. But for the sake of his daughter, he lets himself into it – and gets involved in a life-threatening adventure. Incidentally, Otto's actor is no stranger either.
Nikolaj Lie Kaas played the sullen investigator Carl Mörk in the film adaptations of the crime novels by Jussi Adler Olsen.
