"Horst Lichter – No Time for Assholes" on ZDF: Not that unappealing at all

The film “No Time for Assholes” revolves around the life of Horst Lichter – a slightly different film preview.

Let’s not fool ourselves. In times we live on the classic elegance of perfectly shaped tattooed ass antlers – and in the context of the increasingly ruthless angry general neglect of society, the cultural landscape in particular has to lament enormous collateral damage.

So it is hardly surprising that, for example, the old vernacular catalog of what a man has to do in his life – namely building a house, planting a tree and fathering a child (I personally managed to do this with a demolished house, a felled tree and an abortion just a questionable own goal trick) – apparently the film adaptation of one’s own life was added.

Horst Lichter: No time for assholes on ZDF – honorable reasons

For example, on Sunday, January 9th at 8:15 pm on ZDF under the title “Horst Lichter – No Time for Assholes”, the life of the eponymous Mr. Lichter can be watched. And in the context of the bow wave sloshing ahead of this event, it must be openly admitted: Although the film has been in the corresponding media library for a few days, I have not seen it, but rather the 90 minutes saved in the smeared together of this text garnished with old set pieces invested.

Admittedly, most film and television reviews are probably written with complete ignorance of what is being described … but I admit it here – if not proud of it – at least at least blatantly. And that, i.e. not looking, for a (I think) even halfway honorable reason.

ZDF am Sonntag: Horst Lichter – No time for assholes

Because although I am anything but a friend of automated cheerfulness and the misconception that can hardly be scratched out of the consciousness of far too many people, a dialect (often optically cemented by a “funny-cheeky” mustache like him, for example, since the beginning of time the permanent carnival Rhinelander brandmark) is funny per se, but in the case of lights I have to frankly admit: I don’t like the man at all.

At least based on what you (and there was a time when there was hardly any escape in the media) in interviews and similar formats and what you still get from him.

Horst Lichter – No time for assholes

On Sunday, January 9th on ZDF or in the ZDF media library

Horst Lichter: Amazingly bearable with cash for rares

So, of course, I also had a longer bares-for-rares phase, in which I tried my best to overlook almost all participating people as widely as possible and to concentrate on the sometimes surprisingly interesting art-historical background of the stuff to be hawked there. And even in this context, Mr. Lichter (apart from the usual advocacy to “other moped drivers” and the like) was astonishingly tolerable to actually sympathetic.

And since I know that the bait has to taste the fish and not the angler, I assume, unseen, that the people in charge of the film undoubtedly know what they have done and certainly not by accident to the interested viewer on the slot actually reserved for Rosamunde Pilcher.

I will probably also sit down these days and inform fellow pensioners of the same age in a book (film, musical?) About autobiographical things from my life. I might even use the title “No time for assholes”.

In any case, Horst Lichter doesn’t seem to be one to me and thus – at least in real life – he deserves a little time. (Jörg Schneider)
