Innovation as a catalyst: we reach the future and it is on the move

Innovation defines all the policies and processes of Continental México; for the company, the world is always living in constant transformation, which in turn requires being in constant motion.

To go beyond innovative products and services, companies must use cutting-edge initiatives that generate disruption internally, in their people, in such a way that it permeates the entire organization, said Mónica Aceves, Head of Research, Innovation and Development for the passive safety and advanced sensors business unit of Continental Automotive México.

An example of this are some of our initiatives – which are now considered modern and disruptive in other companies – such as the home office or flexible hours, which have been applied regularly at Continental for several years.

In this way, an organizational structure has been achieved that is conducive to triggering ideas that, thanks to a collaborative environment and disruptive processes, find the right environment to materialize.

Seeking a vision that puts its staff at the center is what has led, once again, Continental México to star in the list of the best companies to work for. According to Aceves, the key to every achievement of the company is its people.

“The contribution of our collaborators is highly valued and has allowed, in our country, the brand to be highly recognized as an employer, for being attractive, progressive and very human, who cares a lot about its people,” he shared.

The interviewee highlighted that the organization ensures that each member of its team achieves their personal and professional development. “I, for example, had the opportunity to study for a master’s degree while working full time.”

“I would not have achieved the recognition that Expansión gave me as one of the 30 promises, if it had not been for those tables that my company gave me and the opportunities for growth.”
