Juanma Moreno will resume his public agenda this Monday after overcoming Covid-19

After a week and a half confined to his home after testing positive for Covid-19 , the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno , will resume his public agenda with face-to-face activity this Monday.

This was announced this Sunday on social networks by the Andalusian leader, who confirmed his contagion last Thursday, May 27, after maintaining close contact with another positive case. Moreno has overcome the disease without serious symptoms and with some “headache, muscle pain and fatigue.”

«Tomorrow I resume my face-to-face activity after completing ten days of confinement. I am recovered and I feel fine . Thank you very much for all the messages of encouragement and support that you have sent me. We continue working for Andalusia and the Andalusians ”, explained the Andalusian chief executive.

Board sources have confirmed to Europa Press that the president will present this Monday in Seville a project to create a new public hospital in La Cartuja-Macarena . In this way, the president returns to his office in the Palacio de San Telmo in Seville and recovers his schedule of events and calls.

Lockdown

During his confinement , the president has spoken several times on social networks to show his concern about the increase in infections and the incidence rate in the community and to ask citizens for much “prudence”, especially in the leisure moments of the weekend.

Likewise, in a radio interview during his isolation, the Chairman of the Board expressed the “fear” produced by being infected with coronavirus, especially when it is seen that younger people enter hospitals and even die, and asked Andalusians to be very cautious and that they do not relax even if progress is being made in the vaccination process.

Moreno explained that the contagion was passing, fortunately, without serious symptoms, since it was only causing a headache and muscle pain and fatigue. He recalled that he had an appointment on June 2 to receive the first dose of the vaccine , something that made him very excited.

This past Friday, Juanma Moreno expressed his concern about the rise in the incidence rate of the coronavirus in the community and once again asked citizens to “redouble their guard” and, above all, “a lot of head this weekend.”

“Hospitalizations decrease, vaccination advances and we once again beat the record of doses given , but it is not yet reflected in the incidence. Let’s double the guard. A lot of head this weekend, “said the Andalusian chief executive.
