The ZDF changed the program for the second time in the Christmas season. A program with presenter Markus Lanz is affected again.
Mainz – Markus Lanz is one of the most famous TV presenters in Germany. The 53-year-old is in the public eye primarily through his talk show of the same name on ZDF. But Lanz usually not only moderates these, but also other formats on Second German Television.
One of them is called “Menschen 2021” and is usually on the ZDF broadcast schedule during the Christmas season. This is a review of the year that not only keeps an eye on political events in Germany but also on society. However, “People 2021” will again not be broadcast. The program was canceled in 2020 – for the first time since it started broadcasting in 2012.
ZDF cancels Markus Lanz broadcast for the second time
In the course of the Corona crisis, the program was replaced by Markus Lanz’s personal format, the talk show of the same name, which gives him notoriety. As early as 2020, Lanz received various guests with the broadcast addition “The year 2021”. According to ZDF, it will be the same in 2021.
The format starts on December 15, 2021 at 8:15 pm. In addition to the dominant topic of the corona crisis, the flood disaster in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate is likely to play a role. (do)
