Maximum tension on the border of Poland: immigrants throw stones and seriously injure a policeman

The Polish security forces that guard the border with Belarus on Tuesday used tear gas to suppress the throwing of stones by immigrants and refugees, in clashes that have resulted in at least one serious injury among Polish soldiers.

The Polish Defense Ministry has denounced an “attack” at the Kuznica pass, where migrants, “very aggressive” and stationed on the border of the territory of Belarus , have thrown stones at the police and military on the other side.

The Polish Government has shared on its social networks the images of these incidents, which are being carried out under the surveillance – and without intervention – of Belarusian officials. In fact, he has claimed that the Belarusian forces have equipped the migrants with stun grenades.

Police have confirmed on Twitter that an agent has been evacuated from the area with serious injuries, after suffering an impact to the head.

Tension has increased on the border between Poland and Belarus, as thousands of people have gathered seeking to continue their advance towards the European Union . Both the Polish authorities and the community bloc as a whole accuse the Alexander Lukashenko regime of using these migrants as a tool for political pressure.

In fact, they consider not only that it is allowing migrants to move freely through its territory but that it is even promoting it. The Polish Defense Ministry on Monday accused agents of the neighboring country of breaking the border fence to encourage irregular entry into Polish soil.
