For her film about terror and radicalization, director Anne Zohra Berrached takes a very special perspective.

Berlin – The director Anne Zohra Berrached ("24 weeks") looks at Islamist radicalization from an interesting angle in her new film.

She tells of the student Asli, who falls in love with the young Saeed from Lebanon. Against much resistance, the two marry – but the couple is increasingly estranged. Saeed is becoming more and more radical. The result is a sensitive drama that owes its pull mainly to the two young leading actors Canan Kir and Roger Azar.
